Yesterday (19th April 2021) was the debut flight of a helicopter on Mars, the first powered aircraft on another planet.
NASA and JPL designed hi-tech demo, drone-copter Ingenuity ('Ginny' or IGY-1) made a test flight, hovering above a crater.
